As the Founder of TheraCouch, it was important for me to create a company that removed the barriers of accessing therapy. I wanted to make therapy convenient for the working professional, stay at home parent, student and elderly.
I believe that therapy requires trust, open and honest communication without judgment. It’s not easy to develop a trusting relationship with a mental health professional, particularly if you have anxiety. Are you fearful of opening up? Are you’re scared of being judged? Maybe you think your thoughts are weird? Are you struggling to focus at work or school? Are your personal relationships being affected? Haven’t been feeling like yourself lately? It’s not unheard of to feel misunderstood, and that’s why we’re sometimes afraid of sharing our vulnerabilities with others. My goal is to make you feel comfortable expressing your true thoughts and feelings. Rather than adopting one methodology for all individuals and issues, I use a variety of methods such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and Mindfulness therapy to create a tailored approach for each individual and situation. As a therapist, I’m down to earth, warm, encouraging and supportive. I offer a realistic approach to therapy that is very effective for my client. I’m committed to helping you overcome your struggles. As your therapist, I will help you clarify your goals for treatment, examine situations, process your emotions and pursue new courses of action that can lead you to more positive outcomes. So, grab your favorite cup of coffee or tea and connect with me online.
